*Note: Day 5 was only on Instagram Story – data does not apply to TikTok.

What performed best?

Top 3 videos by engagement:

Day 6 – Mental Health (emotional, on-screen text + slow music)
→ Strong engagement: 720 likes, 87 comments

Day 3 – Social life in the diaspora (personal story + subtitles)
→ The audience resonated with real experiences

Day 2 – Money & budgeting (POV + voiceover)
→ The topic is extremely practical and common

Weaker content / lessons learned

● Day 1 (Intro): Many did not understand the campaign’s purpose → the intro needs a clearer hook.
● Day 7 (Recap): Lower engagement. A general recap only works if it is emotional or includes testimonials.
● IG Story (Day 5): Good for testing, but there was no TikTok content that day → posting should be consistent daily.

Optimization suggestions

Ideal posting time: between 18:30–21:00 (highest engagement)
Effective length: 0:38–0:52 seconds
Best hooks:
● “Nobody tells you this...”
● “I was ashamed to admit it, but...”
● “If you are a Romanian student abroad, you need to know this:”

High-impact hashtags:
● #studentabroad
● #romaniansabroad
● #dormlife
● #GCRS
● #forstudents

Conclusions

Emotional and personal videos generate the highest engagement.
Posts with practical advice (e.g. money, mistakes to avoid) have strong reach.
For future campaigns:
● Add real testimonials (voice or video).
● Start every clip with a clear hook in the first 3 seconds.
● Optimize visual titles (clear and bold on-screen text).
● Do not leave days without TikTok posts (even short content or reusing IG Story material is better than silence).
