The StudentVoice Promo — digital visibility for student voices
A media campaign designed to grow visibility, audience engagement and community impact for the StudentVoice podcast.

The StudentVoice Promo is a promotional media project focused on increasing the reach and relevance of the StudentVoice podcast in digital environments. The project develops creative strategies to attract new listeners, strengthen audience loyalty and position the podcast as a meaningful platform for student perspectives.

The campaign combines social media publishing, influencer outreach and content planning across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X (Twitter). Each piece of content is designed to translate podcast discussions into accessible, engaging and shareable formats adapted to young audiences.

The team creates short-form video content (Reels, Stories, TikToks), editorial visuals, captions and live interaction formats to amplify key messages of each episode. Live Q&A sessions and interactive stories are used to build direct relationships with listeners and encourage participation.

In parallel, the project handles scripting, topic development and audio support to ensure the podcast remains coherent, relevant and aligned with the interests of the student community. The final goal is to transform StudentVoice into a recognizable, trusted and impactful student media brand.

Instagram Reel #1 – "Things you do NOT learn in college… but that save your life afterward"

Instagram Reel #1

Title:
"Things you do NOT learn in college… but that save your life afterward"

Concept (general idea):
Educational and relatable reel, in a confessional style, with simple voiceover and dynamic visuals.
A short list of essential life skills that no professor tells you about: how to refuse politely, how to ask for help, how to manage your energy.
Final message: "what you don’t learn in class… you learn the hard way."

Full script (voiceover):

Voiceover:

"Things you don’t learn in college… but that save your life afterward:"

"How to say NO without feeling guilty."

"That exhaustion is not a medal – it’s an alarm signal."

"How to ask for help. Without excuses. Without shame."

"That you don’t always have to be available."

"How to manage your energy, not just your time."

"That your peace is more important than other people’s validation."

[short pause, fade-in text]

"What you don’t learn in class… you learn the hard way."
"Follow if you feel like you’re learning more after class than during it."

Visual suggestion:

Format: 9:16 vertical, for Instagram Reels

Frame:
Fast montage with lifestyle shots: student walking on the street, sitting on a bench, working on a laptop, taking a break with headphones on.
Animated text in the center for each idea (max 5 words per slide)
Color tone: warm, natural, with soft light (warm beige, soft blue)

Animations:
Text that "writes" on the screen + fade-in/out
Transitions from one scene to another on the beat

Audio suggestion (trend / music):

Option 1:
Calm lo-fi sound: "Daylight" – Lo-fi Chillhop Remix (instrumental)
Conveys reflection, fits voiceover

Option 2 (trend):
Sound: "nobody talks about this enough…" – frequently used for confessions/personal realizations
Can be adapted without voiceover, using only on-screen text + trend vibe

Instagram Reel #2 – "Top 3 things that are NOT shameful – even though everyone avoids them"

Instagram Reel #2

Title:
"Top 3 things that are NOT shameful – even though everyone avoids them"

Concept (general idea):
"Myth vs reality" / normalization-style reel, built on the idea that young people (especially students) often feel shame about perfectly normal things: asking for help, repeating a year, not knowing something.
The goal is to normalize vulnerability and encourage authenticity.

Full script (text/voiceover):

Voiceover:

"3 things that are NOT shameful – even though they feel like they are."

"1. Asking for help." (on-screen text: "you are not weak, you are human")

"2. Repeating a year." (text: "what matters more is moving at your own pace")

"3. Not knowing something." (text: "questions are not a sign of stupidity, but of courage")

[short pause – final screen appears]

"The only shame is pretending you’re okay when you’re not."
"Share this with someone who needs to hear it today."

Visual suggestion:

Format: vertical 9:16, text-centered

Frame:
Monochrome or minimal background (white text on black or warm beige background)
Alternation between on-screen text and short illustrative sequences (student closing laptop exhausted, smiling after a failure, etc.)

Font:
Clean sans-serif (e.g., Montserrat / Inter Bold)
Emphasis on the words "NOT shameful" and empathetic messages

Vibe: calm, introspective, but empowering

Audio suggestion:

Option 1:
Sound: "Pieces" – Danilo Stankovic (used in self-reflection videos)
Light, emotional piano

Option 2:
Trend: "It’s okay not to be okay" – slow-mo remix (TikTok/IG trending)
Ideal for mixing text with personal mood

Instagram Reel #3 – "What it means to have a voice – even if you don’t shout"

Instagram Reel #3

Title:
"What it means to have a voice – even if you don’t shout"

Concept (general idea):
Inspirational reel about the idea that "having a voice" does not mean being the loudest or the most popular, but having clarity, intention, and the courage to express yourself authentically.
It is a redefinition of "willpower" – perfectly integrable into The StudentVoice theme.

Full script (voiceover/text):

Voiceover:

"Having a VOICE… does not mean shouting louder."

"It means being honest when you are afraid."

"Saying ‘no’ when everyone else says ‘yes’."

"Being silent when you have nothing to add."

"Asking questions that matter, even if no one else asks them."

"Listening to yourself before seeking validation from others."

[short pause + final text]

"Your voice does not have to be perfect. It just has to be yours."
"Follow if you also believe a voice starts with clarity, not noise."

Visual suggestion:

Format: vertical, cinematic style

Frame:
Young person walking alone on a path, in sunset light
Slow cuts with moments of introspection: in the mirror, writing in a journal, speaking in a small group
Text appears in the center of the screen, synchronized with voiceover

Colors:
Warm tones: orange, cream, brown
Calm, poetic, deep atmosphere

Font:
Elegant serif (e.g., Playfair Display) for a mature and sincere look

Audio suggestion:

Soundtrack:
"Sunrise Drive – LoFi Chill Beats"
Slow rhythm, calming atmosphere, suitable for emotionally impactful narrative

Alternative:
"I think you should know this…" (soft, empathetic TikTok audio)

Instagram Video – "What do you do when you don’t know what you want?"

Instagram Video – Complete deliverable

Title:
"What do you do when you don’t know what you want?"

Video description (Instagram caption):

Student life is full of options.
But what do you do when none of them sounds like a clear “YES”?

Instead of panicking, take a break. Breathe.
You don’t have to know everything at 20.

This video does not give you a magic solution.
But it might give you the courage to move forward.

Narrative structure (3 acts)

1. Introduction (0:00–0:10)
Scene with a student alone in a café, looking out the window
On-screen text: “Everyone seems to know what they want. But you... don’t.”
Voiceover: “You wonder if you’re behind. If you’re messing up. If there’s something wrong with you...”

2. Main idea (0:10–0:40)
Transition through thoughts and states: anxiety, pressure, comparison with others
On-screen text:
“Truth?”
“No one really knows. Some just pretend better.”

Voiceover: “It’s okay not to have a perfect plan. Sometimes, what you truly want only shows up after you’ve tested what you do NOT want.”

3. Ending (0:40–0:60)
Final scene with the student smiling slightly, leaving the café, stepping into the light
On-screen text: “You don’t know? That’s fine. It means you can discover.”
Voiceover: “Clarity comes from movement, not overthinking. So start somewhere.”

Visual suggestions

General frame:
Student short-film aesthetic – real, atmospheric, slow-paced shots

Color tones:
Soft beige, urban gray, warm accents (for a realistic but empathetic feel)

On-screen text:
Minimalist, bold font (Inter / Montserrat), smooth appearance on beat

Editing:
Slow transitions, fade-in/out on key scenes, stabilized image

Q&A Live – SQ&A Live – Studying abroad with GCRS scholarships (Perspectives from pupils and students)

This video material is part of the educational activities supported through GCRS scholarships and is recorded as a resource for pupils and university students interested in studying abroad. The discussions offer concrete examples of how the scholarships can be used to build international academic paths and to better understand the practical steps involved in going to study abroad.

GCRS aims for these sessions to remain available in the long term, so that high school pupils, parents and educational counsellors can return to them whenever they need general clarifications about study opportunities and about the role of Romanian student networks in Europe.

In the media portfolio, this type of live Q&A shows how GCRS scholarships work not only as financial support, but also as a starting point for an active community of young people who exchange information, experiences and recommendations with one another.

Q&A Live – Q&A Live – Studying abroad with GCRS scholarships (Perspectives from pupils and students)

This session continues the series of Q&A discussions dedicated to GCRS scholarships and brings forward further examples of academic paths built with the support of the Romanian student network in the diaspora. The material can be used as a general resource by anyone who wants to understand more clearly what the journey looks like in practice – from the intention to study abroad to adapting to a new educational system.

In the context of the editorial portfolio, episodes of this kind document the long-term impact of the scholarships: not only access to universities, but also access to information, mentors and a community that significantly reduces the uncertainty of the beginning.

For GCRS, keeping these live Q&A sessions in the archive also means transparency: any pupil or student can see how the general criteria are explained, how common fears are discussed and how informed, well-considered decisions are encouraged when it comes to studying abroad.
