Title proposal:
„What is your time as a student really worth?”
Social media concept on how students invest (or waste) their time and what “time ROI” looks like during student life.
Open full brief
UniExpress is a STUDENTV media project built around a simple idea: students discovering universities, programs and campus life across Europe. The format combines travel, on-location filming and authentic conversations with local students and academic staff.
Each journey focuses on concrete questions future students usually have: how the campus looks and feels, what study programs are available, how student life is organized and what support services exist. The editorial team structures every episode around practical themes, such as accommodation, teaching style, student communities and everyday challenges.
The project includes reality-style segments, short challenges and on-site activities designed to keep the format dynamic and engaging, while remaining focused on information that is relevant for students who are considering studying abroad. On-location footage is combined with interviews, Q&A moments and highlights from lectures, workshops or university events that are open to visitors.
UniExpress also generates complementary content for social media: behind-the-scenes snapshots, short video clips, live Q&A sessions and editorial summaries. This multiplatform approach allows the project to reach students where they already are online and to keep a continuous conversation open around university choices and study experiences in Europe.

„What is your time as a student really worth?”
Detailed topic:
A practical exploration of how students invest (or waste) their time – between classes, part-time jobs, volunteering, socializing, and endless scrolling. The goal is to make them reflect on their choices and offer concrete examples of “time ROI” (return on investment) during student life.
Justification (why it is relevant for students):
Most students feel they don’t have enough time, but don’t know where it “goes” or how to prioritize it. The topic is timely, practical, and encourages introspection – exactly the kind of content that has real impact and can easily turn into informal education.
Proposed format:
Instagram video / TikTok + carousel post
→ Educational POV-style video (“When you said you only waste 10 minutes scrolling...”), followed by a post with tips + a practical exercise.
Structure / general execution idea:
Video:
• Intro: Comedic POV – a student scrolling 10 minutes, 8 times a day → 80 minutes wasted
• Main idea: how “wasted” time adds up and how much you could learn/grow if you used it consciously
• Ending: Rhetorical question + CTA: “What do you invest 1 hour a day in?”
Post:
• Slide 1: “What is 1 hour a day worth?”
• Slide 2: 5 examples of useful investments (new skill, CV, portfolio, reading, sleep)
• Slide 3: Interactive question: “What’s the best way to use your time as a student?”
• Slide 4: CTA: “Save this if you want to come back to it when it feels like you have no time.”
Title proposal:
„How do you figure out what career suits you when you don’t know where to start?”
Detailed topic:
This proposal addresses the common dilemma of students who don’t know which professional direction to take. Many are undecided, afraid of making the wrong choices, or follow “trends” without understanding their personal motivations. The content offers simple, practical steps and useful tools for career clarity.
Justification (why it is relevant for students):
During university, the pressure to define a career is huge, but guidance is vague or generic. This content gives them a clear starting point, adapted to their level of experience. It applies to all fields and encourages self-reflection, a key skill for any professional path.
Proposed format:
Instagram carousel + Reels + optional PDF freebie
→ The post briefly explains the steps
→ Short reel with dynamic, relatable explanations
→ Optional: a mini PDF worksheet for those who want to go deeper
Structure / general execution idea:
Instagram carousel:
• Slide 1: “Don’t know what career suits you? Start here”
• Slide 2: Ask yourself: What activity puts you in a flow state? (e.g. when you lose track of time)
• Slide 3: What kind of people inspire you? (e.g. creatives, leaders, technical people)
• Slide 4: What kind of effort seems interesting to you, not just “acceptable”?
• Slide 5: Test it: small projects, internships, volunteering.
• Slide 6: CTA: “Save this post. And if you want a complete worksheet, message us.”
Reel:
• POV style: “When someone asks me ‘What are you going to do after university?’ and I...”
• Voiceover with self-reflection questions (e.g. “What activity gives you energy instead of draining it?”)
• On-screen text + subtitles
• Final CTA: “Take the first step today: choose a field and try an activity related to it.”
Optional PDF:
• Title: “Mini-guide: How to clarify your career direction”
• 2 interactive pages with questions, answer spaces, and exploration ideas
Title proposal:
„Soft skills you do NOT learn in university – but that help you in any job”
Detailed topic:
The proposal explores the most important transferable skills (soft skills) that students do not acquire directly in the academic environment, but that are decisive in the workplace: effective communication, constructive feedback, critical thinking, time management, teamwork, etc.
Justification (why it is relevant for students):
Students enter the job market with theoretical knowledge, but face practical demands – mostly based on human interaction, adaptability, and autonomy. Becoming aware of and developing soft skills during university sets them apart with employers and increases their chances of integration and rapid advancement.
Proposed format:
Educational carousel post + short Reels (with concrete examples)
Structure / general execution idea:
Instagram carousel:
• Slide 1: “You don’t just need good grades. Here are the soft skills that matter”
• Slide 2: Clear communication → How to explain an idea without getting lost in details
• Slide 3: Time management → Managing your tasks and breaks without chaos
• Slide 4: Critical thinking → Asking why and how, not just memorizing
• Slide 5: Teamwork → It’s not all about your idea, it’s about collaboration
• Slide 6: CTA: “Which skill would you like to develop? Write to us in the comments”
Reel:
• Style: short storytelling + dramatized examples
• Script: “In class: just me and my laptop. At work: 5 people, 3 opinions, 1 deadline. And everyone wants something different.”
• Natural voiceover + short on-screen titles
• Final CTA: “Want more real-life examples? Tell us in the comments”
Title proposal:
„Money as a student: how to manage your budget without giving up going out”
Detailed topic:
A simple and practical guide on how you can organize your income and expenses as a student, so you don’t always have to choose between survival and social life. Includes friendly financial planning methods, healthy spending habits, and useful apps.
Justification (why it is relevant for students):
Most students struggle financially, and the lack of practical financial education makes life more complicated. Content that normalizes talking about money while also offering easy-to-apply solutions has real impact in daily life and within their community.
Proposed format:
Mini video series (Reels / TikTok) + carousel post with tips & tricks
Structure / general execution idea:
Mini video series – 3 episodes:
“What do you do with your first money after your scholarship or salary?”
– Comedic voiceover, recognizable situation: 70% on Glovo, 30% on clothes.
“3 things you can cut from your expenses – without suffering”
– Example: give up take-away coffee → bring your own thermos.
“Top 3 apps that show you where your money goes”
– Money Lover, Revolut Analytics, Splitwise
Visual style: dynamic, fast cuts, with emoji overlays and subtitles
Carousel post:
• Slide 1: “Student with little money? You have more control than you think!”
• Slide 2: Set your monthly budget – scholarship / salary / family support
• Slide 3: Track all expenses in an app (e.g. Money Lover)
• Slide 4: Plan your meals – save money + eat healthier
• Slide 5: Share subscriptions (e.g. Netflix vs. Spotify with friends)
• Slide 6: CTA: “What budgeting tricks do you use? Write to us in the comments!”
